MEET YOUR TEACHER

Namaste, my name is Aaron Petty, and I’m the co-founder of Om Som Yoga & Ayurveda. With over a decade of practice, study and teaching experience, I’ve guided thousands of people on the path of Yoga and Meditation—helping them reconnect with their bodies, calm their minds, and cultivate a more balanced way of living.

My own journey into Yin Yoga began after years of living in overdrive—working long hours, pushing hard in my practice, and eventually burning out. I turned to Yin not for more effort, but for less. In the stillness, I found space to listen, to soften, and to rebuild my energy from the inside out. Yin taught me that slowing down isn’t a step back—it’s a way to move forward with clarity and care.

And so Yin Yoga and The Prana Vayus was created.
